Mission Statement of NAMI Warren County

The mission of NAMI Warren County is to offer hope and help to people affected by mental illness. We provide support, advocacy, and education to increase understanding, reduce stigma and promote a community in which the opportunity for recovery is maximized.

 

 

THE BEACH IN JANUARY !

LighthouseJanuary 21, 2012 - Come paint a lighthouse with us at the Lindner Center of HOPE gymnasium at 1:00.  Cost is $40, with $15 to NAMI and you will take home your very own lighthouse painting!

THIS MONTH AT NAMI

NAMI meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month to hear local speakers, get answers to questions, share stories and find support. The featured presentation begins at 7:00 PM. Join us at 6PM for an informal support/social hour.

Location: Warren County Work Force One, 300 East Silver Street, Lebanon OH 45036. (3rd floor Young Conference room. Park behind the building and enter through the door off the parking lot.)

FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP

This group is intended for family members (parents, siblings, adult children, friends) of people diagnosed with a mental illness. The person with the illness one can be served by a private provider or a publicly-funded provider. It is intended for any caregiver/family member who needs support.

NAMI Connection Support Group

A NAMI Connection support group meets Monday, January 16, and Monday, February 6 at 7:00 PM, meeting Room 2, the Lindner Center of HOPE, 4075 Old Western Row Rd., Mason, OH 45040. (Between I-71 and Mason-Montgomery Rd.)

NAMI Connection is a recovery support group program for people living with mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety disorders and other serious mental illnesses. This group will give you a chance to talk with others to share coping strategies and insights, as well as problems and concerns.  This group will be facilitated by trained peer facilitators.
